Moulin Musique Celebrates St. Pat's

Moulin Musique is a monthly showcase of local mid-Missouri artistic talent presented by piano diva Sutu Forte. This month she celebrates St. Patrick's Day by including a few Irish music guests. Harpist Melissa Purvis will open the show at 6:30 and fiddler Tim Langen will perform at 7:30, with a bit of dance demonstration by our own CMCAA set dancing club.   Other performers at this month's concert variety show include  The Bait Shop Boys (naughty hillbilly jazz),  Forte and Roe (power classical), Dan Snurr (classical/jazz trumpteur) and  Anastasia Pottinger (visual artist).

Tickets are $12 for adults, 1/2 price for children, students and seniors.  Includes complimentary beverages.
You can reserve seats by calling 573-875-0600 (reservations are recommended as seating is limited)

There is a Moulin Musique e-mail announcement list. If you would like to be added so you hear about this show each month, send an e-mail to Angela Wehmeyer  awehmeyer@gmail.com asking to be added to the list.

Tionol Reminder!

The St. Louis Tionol & Celtic Music Festival is roaring right up! The dates are April 8 - 10.  It's a weekend full of music and dance classes, ceilis, concerts, sessions and merrymaking!

The latest news is that Irish whistle and flute goddess Joanie Madden (of Cherish the Ladies) will be teaching whistle classes at the Tionol this year! This is quite an impressive addition to an already power-packed lineup of teachers and performers.

You can get all the info about the weekend and even register and buy concert tickets online here:
www.tionol.org

Finally... for all you on "baby watch"... there's no news yet. See you at the ceili tonight!
