SUMMER CLASSES BEGIN MONDAY
Yep, summer is here and so is Sinead! She's settled into Columbia life and is ready to teach classes, so please register soon if you plan to take a class. There is still plenty of room in the tin whistle classes and beginning mandolin/tenor banjo class. (None of the classes are filled, though, so be sure to browse the full schedule.)
Two changes to the schedule of classes:
1. Tuesday schedule change, Irish Language and Culture will meet at 5:30 pm and
Beginning Accordion will meet at 6:30 pm.
2. The Sean nos dance class is now combined with Beginning Set Dancing and will
meet at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays.
Monday classes will meet at The Chez Coffeehouse, 100 Hitt St., Columbia
Tuesday classes will meet at First Christian Church, corner of Walnut and Tenth
Streets, Columbia.
We still have one ACCORDION to rent out to someone who would like to take the Beginning Button Accordion class, which will meet on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm.

Improvers tin whistle / flute Monday 7:30 - 8:25 (for classical/silver
flute players, too!)

CEILI THIS FRIDAY in COLUMBIA, 7:00 PM
Come on out and meet Sinead Fahey! She will be playing music along with local fiddler Tim Langen for our monthly evening of Irish music and social dancing. Come to dance, or just to listen. Bring your kids! Bring your grandparents! Bring yourself!
All dances are taught and called, NO experience is necessary. No partner is
necessary either -- we'll provide one!
Beginners' lesson starts at 7:00 pm, the dances start at 7:30 pm.
Location: First Christian Church, corner of Walnut and Tenth Streets (plenty
of parking behind the church. Enter though the parking lot door)
Admisison: $5, FREE for kids 14 & under.

Irish music at Columbia Twilight Fest, June 9, 16 & 30
Tonight at Twilight Festival, Celtic harpist Melissa Purvis will be
playing in front of My Secret Garden on N. Ninth St. CMCAA will have a booth on
Tenth Street.
The Thursday night session group with guest musician Sinead Fahey and a few
guest step dancers from Ellie Grace's School of Music and Dance will perform
twice at Twilight Fest. On Thursday, June 16 they will be in front of The Clip
Joint on Tenth Street and on Thursday, June 30 they will be in front of The
Pasta Factory on Broadway.
If you are out at Twilight Fest, please stop by and say hello!

KIDS DANCE CLASSES IN JULY
We're working on scheduling two kids' dance classes that will meet for 5
weeks from July 7 to August 11. The two classes will be for ages 4 - 7 and 8 -
14. They will meet either Thursday evenings from 5::30 - 6:30 and 6:30 - 7:30 pm
or on Saturday mornings from 9 - 10 and 10-11 am. Schedule is subject to space
availability and student enrollment.
