Open music session tonight at The Chez coffeehouse, 100 Hitt St. 7:30
- 10 p.m.
Musicians of all levels are welcome. Bring an instrument, bring your dance
shoes, or just come hang out with us! Stop by after Twighlight Festival if you
downtown!
KC IRish Fest this weekend
This year the festival is at the Hallmark Crown Center with music and dancing Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.
The Hyatt Regency hotel will host music sessions in the evening for
performers and any other musicians who happen to bring instruments. The Hyatt
is offering a festival price of $69 per room night if you book online via the
Irish Fest web site. The hotel fee includes two one-day tickets to the
festival.

Christine Harker, our local set dancing instructor, will be running a ceili on Friday evening from 7 - 9 pm and again Saturday evening from 5 - 7 pm. It will be in the Heritage Tent stage both days.
Irish band Teada, who performed in Columbia in 2003, will be on the Pub Stage Saturday evening and Sunday evening.

Irish Music at Twighlight Fest - September 23 - Thursday night Irish session group plays at Twighlight Festival in at the corner of 10th and Cherry Streets, 6 - 8 p.m.
